“Escape from Mr Lemoncello’s Library” by Chris Grabenstein

By Jwoyi @ 12

Can you ever imagine staying in the library at night ...... Well , if you hadn’t had that experience yet , check out “Escape from Mr Lemoncello’s Library” by Chris Grabenstein . This adventurous and fun fiction will tell you how will it feel to try to find the way out from the library in 24 hours ....... Without using any exits . Well , it may seem not possible to you but it is possible (at least in the book) . Have fun reading while picturing a group for trusted friends (and one or maybe two enemies) finding clues and riddles that will lead them to to way out , which is - (I am definitely not telling you , as I said , I DO NOT want to be a book spoiler) .

    In my opinion :
I  think the intelligence of the characters are really cool.

“The Boy Who Gave His Heart Away” by Cole Moreton

By Jwoyi @ 12

“The Boy Who Gave His Heart Away” by Cole Moreton is a heart-warming non-fiction (true story)about two boys . “One of them will die - and in doing so , he will save the other’s live .” When I first saw this book months ago , I thought “maybe this will be a nice book” Hmmm......Well,however , after I have gotten this book , it practically just sat in my book shelf for months ....... Well, at least till two weeks ago . Okay , guess  I am babbling away from the topic ..... Haizz...😝😝😝 Well, anyways, this very-nice book is about two almost-the-same age boys who had never known each other and are on the verge of dying . One boy needs a heart transplant and one boy can’t seem to hold on to life anymore . So , the boy who can’t live donated his heart to the another boy . The boy died . The other survived . It is really sad though heart-warming . Both of the boys’ parents met a few month after the heart transplant. They instantly connected like old friends...... Well ain’t it a nice story ? Okay , I don’t want to be a story spoiler . Check it out yourself . (I highly recommend you reading this if you like non-fiction)

In my point of view to this non-fiction :
I like the way the author divided the chapters for each of the boys . It is somehow cool . I am amazed at how a boy could save another boys life and allowing the boy to carry out activities he might not have done again . It is a really great book .

Dear World by Bana Alabed

By Jwoyi @12

This book is about a Syrian girl who lives in the war. She is very unlucky as the war starts when she was only 3 years old . But I guess she could be considered lucky in a sense that all of her relatives are still with her and none died from a war and now she is living away from the war in Turkey.

After reading this I feel that I am so lucky to live in such a peaceful country with no war. I am thankful for I have a house to live in, good food to eat , clean water too , I get to go to school and my country is peaceful. I feel that the Syrian people are so pitiful. I am thankful that I can read this book so I know that how lucky I am. πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

Don't take things and people around you for granted. Appreciate what you have.

By idakhoo@jwoyi's mummy

March 27th 2018 (year of the dog) is the saddest day. Our loving daddy/kong kong passed away peacefully without any suffering. He left behind some funny, irritating, happy and beatiful momories and moments with us. We will always remember you in our heart and missed you dearly. 😒😒😒

THE EVOLUTION OF CALPURNIA TATE and THE CURIOUS. WORLD OF CALPURNIA TATE by Jacqueline Kelly

By Jwoyi @ 11,(^o^)(^o^)

1. The Evolution of CalpurNia Tate

I find it interesting that Calpurnia loved science . I also felt funny that why the girls in the olden days are expected to cook and sew (・o・)(・o・)(・o・). I also felt weird that why her family finds it weird for her to love science .

2. The Curious World of Calpurnia Tate .

This story is about Calpurnia and the animals. So I think actually she liked animals more than science.(*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡

My idiot story . .....Oops! I mean idiom . ^_^

Today at school our English teacher - Madam Tan asks us to copy down 14 idioms and its meaning in our writing book . And then , we need to memorise it . She said that we need to recite it to her next week on Tuesday because there are no English class on Monday .

So when I got home I tell mummy ,

Mummy : Of course ! It is up to you .
Me : Yay! Okay , Mummy , now I will recite it to you and then you tell me if it is correct . Okay ?
Mummy :  N-o- , no . You go and write it on a piece of paper and I want you to write an essay abou it .                       Okay ?
Me : Okay....... -_-

So I ended up writing an essay and wrote up the meaning of the idioms on top of it . Haha . >o<

Jwoyi have to wear glasses. OMG!!!!!

By Idakhoo @ Jwoyi's mummy

Ok this is what I have to blog it too so that you know when you start wearing your glasses. This happen in the year 2015. On the 30th Jan 2015, we need to drop kong kong to check up and then I took you to Belissa Row in Pulau Tikus to wait for him. While sitting in one of the shop drinking coffee we got bored and I ask you if you would like to go check your eyesight just for fun and you agree.

It happen that the optometrist used to be our neighbor. So after checking I found out that you need to wear glasses and that freak me out big time as I DON'T WANT you to wear glasses. After getting your eyesight checked you told me that actually everyday in class when ever you need to copy from the whiteboard you will go to the front because you can't see from the back. Then I ask you why you did not tell me earlier you thought it is normal.

You trying out the frame

You start wearing glasses in Feb 2015 until now. I am so so so so so SAD.

You before wearing glasses so pretty

You wearing glasses still look pretty :)

Jwoyi got her ear pierced

By Idakhoo @ Jwoyi's mummy

I know that it has been so many years and only now I am blogging about this. But I want to capture all the moment so that you can read it next time.

This is a very long story. You pierced your ear twice. Yes you read it correctly. TWICE!!!!! The first time happen in the year 2013 when you were 7 years old. You have it pierced in Kulim during your school holiday when your daddy was back in Penang. We went to Kulim to visit po po and at the same time have your ears pierced.  It is on the 17th Aug 2013. Your po po pay for everything for you. But after piercing she said people said that if want to pierce your ears you need to pierced it on your birthday if not that it will turn bad. What bad omen. I don't believe all that but it turn out right. Your kong kong accidentally swipe your ear thinking that there is something on it but actually it is bleeding and all this happen in Uncle Albert when we were having lunch there after school with Florence ahmah. And you were crying as it is painful so end up you took off the other side and the holes closed up.

Then after that I did ask you a few times if you would like to pierce your ear. And we get it done in 23rd of Nov 2015. This time I took you to Gurney Plaza and pierce. And it is not on your birthday. And it turn out good. So happy.
