“Escape from Mr Lemoncello’s Library” by Chris Grabenstein

By Jwoyi @ 12

Can you ever imagine staying in the library at night ...... Well , if you hadn’t had that experience yet , check out “Escape from Mr Lemoncello’s Library” by Chris Grabenstein . This adventurous and fun fiction will tell you how will it feel to try to find the way out from the library in 24 hours ....... Without using any exits . Well , it may seem not possible to you but it is possible (at least in the book) . Have fun reading while picturing a group for trusted friends (and one or maybe two enemies) finding clues and riddles that will lead them to to way out , which is - (I am definitely not telling you , as I said , I DO NOT want to be a book spoiler) .

    In my opinion :
I  think the intelligence of the characters are really cool.

“The Boy Who Gave His Heart Away” by Cole Moreton

By Jwoyi @ 12

“The Boy Who Gave His Heart Away” by Cole Moreton is a heart-warming non-fiction (true story)about two boys . “One of them will die - and in doing so , he will save the other’s live .” When I first saw this book months ago , I thought “maybe this will be a nice book” Hmmm......Well,however , after I have gotten this book , it practically just sat in my book shelf for months ....... Well, at least till two weeks ago . Okay , guess  I am babbling away from the topic ..... Haizz...😝😝😝 Well, anyways, this very-nice book is about two almost-the-same age boys who had never known each other and are on the verge of dying . One boy needs a heart transplant and one boy can’t seem to hold on to life anymore . So , the boy who can’t live donated his heart to the another boy . The boy died . The other survived . It is really sad though heart-warming . Both of the boys’ parents met a few month after the heart transplant. They instantly connected like old friends...... Well ain’t it a nice story ? Okay , I don’t want to be a story spoiler . Check it out yourself . (I highly recommend you reading this if you like non-fiction)

In my point of view to this non-fiction :
I like the way the author divided the chapters for each of the boys . It is somehow cool . I am amazed at how a boy could save another boys life and allowing the boy to carry out activities he might not have done again . It is a really great book .

THE EVOLUTION OF CALPURNIA TATE and THE CURIOUS. WORLD OF CALPURNIA TATE by Jacqueline Kelly

By Jwoyi @ 11,(^o^)(^o^)

1. The Evolution of CalpurNia Tate

I find it interesting that Calpurnia loved science . I also felt funny that why the girls in the olden days are expected to cook and sew (・o・)(・o・)(・o・). I also felt weird that why her family finds it weird for her to love science .

2. The Curious World of Calpurnia Tate .

This story is about Calpurnia and the animals. So I think actually she liked animals more than science.(*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡

Running Above the Roof Of the World by Jess Butterworth

By Jwoyi @ 11

This book is about how a girl went to find the Dalai Lama to rescue her parents from the soldiers prison.
From this book , I learn that if we always have hope  , things will always turn out unbelievably okay . I also learnt that we need to always think positively no matter how desperate we are.

My Secret Sister by Helen Edwards and Jenny Lee Smith

By Jwoyi @ 11 :-|)

This book is the true story of Helen and her twin sister , Jenny . They were separeted six weeks after birth , Helen remained with her parents while her sister is adopted . Both of them always felt that something was missing and longed for a brother or sister. Although they don't know the existence of each other, they still will kind of feel it. I think no matter what or how a pair of twins will still kind of feel or know that each other existed. Helen's father abused her. From here I know that even your own parents can abuse you. And from reading this book I realised that how evil a person can be and how a parent can abuse his/her own child without even regretting or simpath ise or even care about him/her . I've also wondered how can Helen tolerate all of this??? On the other hand, Jenny is treated very well and very much loved by the parents whom adopted her. In the end, they still managea to reunion. They sure are very happy.

The Hungry Monster by Michelle Wong

By Jwoyi @ 11

This book is about a naughty boy and how end up he turned obedient . From this book I learnt that we  need to be good and never bully the others or get into fights . Or just doing anything wrong and refuse to change because the karma will always come back to you . And by the time we were punished and wanted to change , it was always too late .

I like this book very much.

Anne of the Island by L.M.Montgomery

By Jwoyi@ 11

This book is about Anne studying in college . Over there she met a Friend from the place she is born at. She then followed her Friend there and found her own house . She was very happy . It had been so Long but end up she still found her house . I think no matter what we will still always find our family ,embers or where they had once lived or their grave .

I find this book a little boring .

Anne of Avonlea by L.M.Montgomery

By Jwoyi @ 11

This book is a the second book on Anne . In this book Marilla adopted a pair of twins . The boy - Davy is an interesting, cheeky and curious boy . I like Davy because sometimes he does some very cheeky things . The girl - Dora is obedient, but I don’t like her because somehow I think that she is way toooooooooo obedient . I’d prefer it if only she is not so obedient and at least be a little cheerful and fun sometimes . She doesn’t even laugh . In this book Anne works as a teacher in her old school. I like Anne as she is just almost as cheerful and adventurous as when she is little . I think I like her that way . I would have hate it if she turned Super serious . I think sometimes we must still be playful even if we are grown up if not the world would be Super duper boring .

I will update next week on the book Anne of the Island.

隐形法宝救救我by 谢智慧

By Jwoyi @ 11

This book is about a boy who don't understand English. So , his father decided to sent him to a camp with all the international school students . Oh , he was so annoyed . His father gave him an electronic dictionary so that he can translate what he wants to say and understand what others are talking about . When people talks to him , he would just answer yes , no or I don't know as he don'tunderstand what the others are talking about . However , when he reacher the camp , he realised his electronically dictionary was exchanged !!! That dictionary can project out a human which only he can see . That huaman helped him to translate . At first he didn't let others know that he don't understand English , but in the end it was revealed .

Actually if I am that boy I would feel very humiliated . As he did not understand English, he was kept on being sighed at . I think if his family want to improve his English , they should actually start it at home by communicating with him in English . That would improve his English faster and easier.

This is all about it . It is quite a nice book . 😀😀

Anne of Green Gables by L.M.Montgomery

By Jwoyi @ 11

This is an interesting book. Anne is an orphan adopted by Marilla Cuthbert and her brother , Matthew Cuthbert . Although they are expecting a boy, they still adopted Anne in the end . Anne is a interesting , imaginative , talkative and clumsy girl . Although Marilla appeared to be stern , she actually is a very kind woman and she loves Anne very much . At first when she first adopted Anne , she kept on telling Anne off for talking too much , but she actually don't care about it and quite kind of like it . I enjoy reading how Anne causes troubles like when she baked a cake she accidentally put anodyne liniment  in it instead of vanilla extract . Another time , she had dyed her hair green . But Marilla never punish  her for all the trouble she causes . :)
I like Anne because she is interesting and I like to read about how she talks using big words .😁😁😁

Okay, look out for my next update on Anne of Avonlea. I am reading it right now .  Suppose I'd finish it by next week.

By The Shores of Silver Lake by Laura Ingalls Wilder

by Jwoyi @ 11

This book is about the true story of Laura Ingalls Wilder. She has three sisters. She had wrote a series of books about herself and this is one of it. This is my first book I read by her but it is not the first book. It is because mummy and I don't know at first. Anyway, this book is about how her family and her move out from their house and to find a homestead. Before that , her mother, her eldest sister , her younger sister and her youngest sister had got scarlet fever so only her father and her could work and do the household chores. Furthermore ,  the scarlet fever had hit her eldest sister-Mary's eyes and Mary had gotten blind. Poor Mary.  In the end of the story , they had successfully found a perfect homestead and  had finally settled down well.

Actually I felt pity on her family after reading about her story because they had to suffer through so many things through their life. When I read the introduction of the rest of the books is mostly about how she and her family suffered through difficulties or challenges. I also admire her for she could face all these things.

I really hope I could get the rest of the books because I think the story is going to be  very interesting .😏😏😏

Matilda by Roald Dahl

By Jwoyi @ 11

This is a very nice book. It is about a girl named Matilda who can move things with her eyes. It is quite funny when I read about how her parents treat her and how her headmistress in school treats the students. The part that I like best is where she scared her headmistress by picking up a piece of chalk and writing on the board by using her eye power. I also like the part when she visits her teacher - Miss Honey's house. Matilda is a Math genius. At the age of five she could do multiplication with big numbers like 254x 44. She could calculate it out at once while Miss Honey still need to use a calculater. It is fun reading about how fast she could do her maths. At the end of the story, her family is going to be arrested by a police and they need to move to somewhere far away immediately. Luckily, Miss Honey and her parents agreed to let Miss Honey adopt her. It is a very nice and happy ending. At least she don't need to face her parents doing things to her like burning up her library book .

When you start to read story books to fiction books

By Idakhoo@Jwoyi's mummy

When we first came back to Penang we decided to send you to chinese school. So I was afraid that your English will be poor so I start to search for simple easy books for you to read. Your very simple first book is "Heidi Heckelbeck".

Bought you the volumn 1 and you love it so end up we collect the series and it is still ongoing but you don't read that any more as too simple.

The next set of books is "Lotus Lane". And the series consist of only four books.

Then from here on you kept on reading and as the books are expensive I decide to looks for cheaper books. I got most of your books from MPH bookstore in Gurney.

So then I saw advert on cheap books and they will have the sales only once a year and it is called Big Bad Wolf Books sales. So your ee ee will take us there and the books are all at around RM 5 to RM 10. I bought lots for you.

These are the books that I got from Big Bad Wolf and Popular sales. You read all this in the year 2014 and 2015.

But by then I think that these are all to simple and you need to start to read more words and not all simple big words books. So by end of 2015 when I went to Popular bookstore in Gurney I saw them promoting Roald Dahl's books and I saw Matilda and I watch that movie when I was young. So I decided to buy you the book and told you that this is your year end project. You need to read it then tell me all about it when you finish the book. And told you that once you finish I will go get the movie for you to watch.

From this point onwards you love Roald Dahl's books and these are your collection.

The next book after Matilda is Annie and you love it so much.

From here onwards you read thick and small print books. The below books you read it in 2016 and 2017.
I bought most of the books from MPH bookstore and online bookstore Bookxcess. Bookxcess online books are cheap and usually I will buy 10 books per order.

So now I don't know what kind of books to buy for you. You have read most of the books and I don't want to buy you love stories and you hate horror and mystery. So what to buy you next? I am in a dilemma.
